Opportunities for Businesses

LMDC works in cooperation with its partners in the public and private sectors to coordinate long-term planning for the World Trade Center site and surrounding areas. Each government agency performs different tasks in the rebuilding process. LMDC also implements short-term initiatives to improve the quality of life in Lower Manhattan during the course of rebuilding. In executing its responsibilities, LMDC often requires outside resources to assist rebuilding efforts.
