Progress in Lower Manhattan

The rebuilding of Lower Manhattan can be seen and heard daily with a flurry of construction activity. The sights and sounds of cranes, trucks, jackhammers and shovels in the ground represent the continued transformation of Lower Manhattan into a vibrant 24/7 community. Ground has been broken for many signature projects and soon, nearly $10 billion in new construction will be underway, including:

The Freedom Tower
Goldman Sachs new headquarters
World Trade Center Memorial
2 Grand Transit Stations
South Ferry Station
Deconstruction of 130 Liberty Street
World Trade Center 7
Dey Street
Cortlandt Street Station
